CRIMINAL INTENT

Valentina is the sole witness to a violent crime and can clearly identify the perpetrator - there’s just one problem, she’s an undocumented immigrant born and raised in America.

Terrified to go to the police but haunted by her moral compass she consults her childhood best friend, a lawyer, who urges her to do the right thing and insists she must put her name on the police report. Heeding her friend’s advice, Valentina is remorselessly threatened and terrorized. When she reaches out to the authorities, they send an officer to protect her, but things take a dangerous turn when she recognizes him as the man she reported.
